Manifesto
Rest assured, I have a few stories to tell and a few pearls of wisdom to drop, but first, what is the Manifesto of “a wanna-be surf bum?”
Well in all reality it has nothing to do with surfing, It has everything to do with some very key elements that I have picked up over the years from people who are a lot smarter than me.
It all starts with a question that you must ask yourself. “If you knew that tomorrow at the end of the day, you would die, but had to work the whole day, what would you do between now and then to define your life. What legacy would you leave for your family, your children and everyone else?”
Now ask yourself if what you are doing falls in line with how you answered in the exercise.
Its simple, either you are on the path you desire or your are not. We can say its complicated, with money or family or life in general, but at the end of the day we cannot use life as an excuse to not live life.
If you truly want something bad enough you will find a way to manifest it into your life.
This is where it all starts, with you answering these questions truthfully and then taking action towards what you seek. There is no room for excuses here about why you can’t or you don’t have time or even worse, what people might think.
Small people will always try to belittle your dreams, but the truly great will make you feel as though you too can become great.
Now your work is your passion and when you have passion in life or work, the competition does not stand a chance.
